How quaint
“Oooh, the have the internet on computers now”
–Homer Simpson
My two-year old son already finds it hard to believe that shows on the TV (DVDs) can’t be rewound and replayed when you chant “again!” (which means “Father, I enjoyed that last segment, please rewind it so I may enjoy it once more”).
So when the time comes to explain that when I was a young, the internet was only on computers that sat on a desk and you needed a screen, mouse and keyboard to make it work, I’m sure he’ll be very puzzled.
